Best Paste I’ve Had
Made Sunday Gravy with this – water, paste and braised meat with minimal seasoning – and it turned out amazing. Sweet, not overly salty and very rich.I’ll be buying this next year for sure as we make it once a year.

First the quality and taste are great. Since we’ve downsized the added bonus for me is the size; it takes very little space to store and the smaller weight is also a plus.

Great product but shipping is awful
This tomato paste transforms my pasta sauce into a next level dish. Recently, they stopped selling it at Whole Foods, so I sourced it through Amazon. Nbd right? My first 2 pack order came in a bubble mailer and was damaged with visible leakage. Only 1 was damaged but what a waste! I can’t even return or get a partial refund???!? Do better with your shipping! Buyer beware.

Pantry Perfection
Just received my second order of this terrific tomato paste. It was a great find. It’s got the right amount of body/consistency, doesn’t separate, and has a rich, wholesome taste that enhances anything you use it with.I ordered it after doing a pantry refresh, which made me realize that there was a glaring deficiency in Katrina’s pantry. No tomato paste! This type of paste is a pantry must have, as it doesn’t have to be refrigerated until open, but once opened in can safely stay in the fridge for months. What’s not to like?

Not in grocery store, fair price on Amazon!
So glad Amazon offers this quality tomato paste IN A TUBE! Was not able to find any TUBED tomato paste in any grocery stores in two states. Rachel Ray uses it all the time so I’ve looked high and low for it. So convenient in this re-sealable tube when a recipe calls for a tablespoon or two….you don’t have to waste the rest like I used to from a can.

Great tasting tomato paste in the amount you chose without opening a can
Love the taste of this tomato paste in a tube and the size for many of my recipes in which I just want to add a little richness or flavor without wasting 1/2 of a can of paste.

Better than canned
I cook a lot of Italian food and find this brand of tomato paste tastes much fresher, sweeter and lighter than canned alternatives. The tube is also superior to cans in that the product stays fresher and you can squeeze out just the amount you need and preserve the rest in the refrigerator.I highly recommend it for both taste and convenience.

Tube and packaging does not say this paste is made form San Marzano tomatoes. Is it really?
It bothers me that nowhere on the packaging or on the tub itself does this Italian tomato paste say that it is actually from “San Marzano” tomatoes. If it cannot be verified that the paste is made from San Marzano tomatoes, then that should be removed from the description. I specifically bought this paste because the name was “San Marzano” etc., and that may not be the case.
