Maruchan Ramen Chicken is an absolute staple to keep in reserve. This 24-count pack of 3 oz instant noodle cups is perfect for emergencies or those extremely busy days when you need a quick, ready-to-eat meal. Infallible and delicious classic

No matter how many times you eat it, the Ramen Maruchan never fails. It has the perfect balance between flavor, practicality and price. Ideal for those days with little time or when I want something comforting and warm in minutes. My favorite is the chicken flavor, but all the flavors have that tasty touch that makes you come back for more. You just need hot water and that’s it, although sometimes I add an egg, vegetables or some meat to make it more complete.

    As always, these are great!

As always, ramen is great! They cook fine and turn out great, no mushy texture. I like the fact that it’s a big box for the price, so I’ll definitely buy more!

    Excessive Salt Problem Solved

Manchurian Romin Noodles – love all three main flavors but the 69% DMR of salt is a turn-off. Yet without any salt it lacks flavor. Throw away the flavor packet and you throw away the food flavor with the salt.I like them for lunch where I add a few pieces of meat or shrimp to the bottom. I have been dealing with the excessive salt by just using 1/2 of the flavor packet. Then I make up for the lost beef or chicken flavor with 1/2 teaspoon of Herb Ox Sodium Free granulated boullion powder. Herb Ox doesn’t make a shrimp powder so I add Old Bay seasoning (like a good Maryland boy) to my shrimp Romin.

Broke? Sad? Emotionally unstable? There’s a noodle for that.

I don’t eat Maruchan Chicken Ramen. I experience it.It starts with the crinkle of that shiny plastic package music to the ears of broke college students, gamers at 2 a.m., and anyone who’s ever thought, “I can make a meal with 27 cents and a dream.”Boil some water, toss in the noodle brick, watch it dissolve like your will to meal prep. Then comes the magic: that little silver flavor packet filled with mysterious yellow powder. Chicken? MSG? Stardust? Who knows. All I know is it tastes like childhood, survival, and reckless sodium in one glorious bite.First bite: warmth. Second bite: emotional healing. Third bite: immediate dehydration and zero regrets.I once ate this for five days straight. Not because I had to. Because I wanted to.10/10 comfort. 4/10 nutritional value. 100/10 would make again instead of doing literally anything else.Warning: You may find yourself questioning whether you’re eating soup or sipping on liquid nostalgia and seasoning packet witchcraft. Either way, it’s cheaper than therapy and way more delicious.

Best Deal 4 Folks on Tight Budgets!

I’ve eaten these (particularly the chicken 🐔 flavor) for years & so did my 3 kids! It’s a true life saver, in this terrible economy!!The seasoning is flavorful as is, but you could also, easily add in a few diced green onions, carrots or maybe even a handful of tiny, Bok Choy bits or shredded green cabbage with a sprinkle of ground Ginger), just for a change of pace! For each package (I always cook 2 packages at a time), simply pour 2 cups of water into a 2 quart sauce or pasta pan & then bring water to a slow boil, but add the seasoning mix from the foil packet, into the water and stir with a whisk or fork BEFORE the water boils (so that the seasoning is distributed more evenly & won’t clump up). Then? Add the noodles and IMMEDIATELY lower the stove temperature (a ‘mediuum to slow’ is good, or it will boil over)!Cook for LESS THAN 3 MINUTES (to avoid soggy noodles). Stir frequently while boiling on low heat, in order to avoid noodles sticking to each other & some being “undercooked.”If a little too much water inadvertently evaporates while cooking but you want more broth? You can add another 1/2 cup of water, about 2 minutes into boil (helps cool it down faster too) along with a quick dash of salt 🧂, to keep it from tasting “bland,” after you added the extra water. Otherwise, just don’t add any extra water or salt & eat as is.Then… enjoy! 😋 PERFECT IN COLD WINTER WEATHER… it’s right up there with “Mom’s grilled cheese 🥪 sandwiches” (& tomato soup 🍲 combos) on a cold day, when we were kids! Then, just enjoy and smile. 😋

A Culinary Adventure in Sodium and Survival

Let me set the scene: it’s 2 AM, my fridge is emptier than my bank account, and I’m contemplating eating ketchup packets like a raccoon with a mortgage. Then I remember… CHICKEN FLAVORED RAMEN NOODLES.Cue the angelic choir.First of all, let’s be honest—there is no actual chicken in this. Somewhere, a chicken filed a defamation lawsuit. But does it taste like chicken? Kind of. If chicken were reincarnated as a salty whisper in a noodle’s ear.Preparation is simple: boil water, throw in the noodles, question your life choices, add the magical powder packet that’s 90% sodium and 10% MSG-induced hope. Three minutes later, you’re dining like a broke emperor.Pros:Costs less than your daily self-worthTastes like nostalgia and questionable decisionsDoubles as a college survival tool or post-apocalyptic currencyCons:Your kidneys may file for divorceYou’ll sweat pure flavor packet the next dayPair it with a plastic fork, regret, and a dash of hot sauce if you’re feeling gourmet. Would I eat it again? Absolutely. Would I serve it at a dinner party? Only if the guests are imaginary. In conclusion, Chicken Ramen: the food equivalent of a warm, salty hug from your last functioning brain cell. Bon appétit!

    Ramen is life!

I’ll start with … I’m Korean. Ramen is a staple … so I buy it by the case. When I bought this case, it was only $6 … so 25 cents per packet. Forget those expensive noodle restaurants and make it at home. I buy a rotisserie chicken, debone and add carrots, celery … or seaweed flakes, tofu, hard-boiled egg and top with green onion. While the included seasoning is full of MSG and sodium … I opt for a teaspoon of low sodium soy sauce and grated ginger … or I use poultry seasoning, sage, thyme and garlic … I prefer seasonings and spices to chemicals and salt. I cook so my pantry is always stocked with plenty of seasonings and spices that I like. Save yourself a ton of money and experiment … ramen is a healthy and inexpensive meal.

5 Stars – Great Value and Delicious!

If you’re a fan of quick, affordable meals, the Maruchan Ramen Chicken flavor is a must-have! This pack of 24 (3 oz each) is a fantastic deal, and I’ve been super impressed with both the taste and the price. Here’s my review:Pros:Incredible Value: For the price, you really can’t go wrong. You get 24 packs of ramen for a very affordable price, making this an amazing budget-friendly option for meals, snacks, or emergencies.Great Flavor: The chicken flavor is classic and delicious. It’s savory and satisfying, and I love how the broth is flavorful but not overly salty. It’s the perfect comfort food for any time of day.Quick & Easy: These noodles are super easy to prepare. Just a few minutes of boiling water, and you’ve got a hot, tasty meal ready to go. Perfect for busy days or when you need something fast.Perfect Portion Size: Each pack is 3 ounces, which is just the right amount for a quick lunch or snack. I find that it’s filling enough for a meal without being too much.Versatile: While the noodles are great on their own, I like to get creative by adding in extra veggies, eggs, or some cooked chicken to make it a more substantial meal. The flavor pairs well with a variety of additions.Cons:Not the Healthiest Option: Like most instant noodles, Maruchan Ramen is high in sodium and doesn’t have a lot of nutritional value. It’s great for a quick meal, but I wouldn’t rely on it as a regular part of my diet.Basic Seasoning: The chicken seasoning is simple and tasty, but it’s not particularly complex. If you’re someone who likes more bold, layered flavors, you may need to add extra seasonings or toppings.Final Thoughts:For the price, this Maruchan Ramen Chicken is a total winner. It’s easy, affordable, and tastes great – perfect for when you’re in a hurry or just want a comforting bowl of ramen. Whether you’re a college student, busy professional, or just someone who loves ramen, this pack of 24 will last you a long time and never disappoint. Highly recommend!
