I made a quick tomato sauce with this to go on my home made eggplant parm. The sauce came out sweet and smooth. I added salt and pepper, garlic, fresh basil, olive oil of course, and kept adding water as it simmered and developed flavor. Love having this organic option.

Who reviews tomato paste? Tomato paste normally has zero sodium added – unlike tomato sauce. Add water and it becomes sauce for me spaghetti. Why would anyone let the tomato sauce makers dictate how much salt you have to ingest?

The product is just fine. But this is a tiny Tiny TINY can. So be sure to pay attention to the number of ounces when you buy cans on Amazon. I don’t think I have ever even seen cans of tomato paste or sauce this small in a store.
