    Great protein-rich ramen

These are quite tasty. It took a couple of cups to get used to the change in texture of these noodles, but I did, and I enjoy their chewiness. I am on a high-protein diet, so these are perfect. I do szush them up by adding ramen vegetables, kombu, and a little mirin, which I add to all ramen I make, and I enjoy the taste a lot. I switched up with the curry and just added some leeks and chicken to it. It was wonderful! The protein content of 32g is excellent, if you’re on a high protein diet. I find it hard ot get all my protein in, and this helps. At $3.50 a serving (or $20.94 for six, at time of review), it’s a lot more expensive than your average ramen, but it is worth it for the health benefits. Highly recommend.

    Quick and easy to make

It’s ok. Not great, but not terrible. Not very salty. Good variety of flavors. It’s filling for a small meal. It is quick and easy to make so that’s a plus. I might buy it again

Lack of flavor but high in protein.

Overall taste isn’t bad, but it isn’t a huge flavor bomb. Very subtle curry flavor. Spice is definitely good. The texture isn’t smooth like noodles. It has a more rough/grainy texture to the noodles. When chewing it isn’t bad at all. This is 32 g of protein in this and personally I think that amount of protein is nice! I love ramen so to be able to have more protein based then its good to me. Overall i think the value is there what you’re getting. There are multiple flavors in the variety pack and spicy curry was the first one I tried. Quality is less than what I expected just because of lack of flavor but overall i would buy again.

Better then I expected, my kids love them too.

I actually really enjoy the texture of the noodles.  They hold up well in the broth, even if you make it and kind of forget about it before eating it.  My favorite flavor out of all of them was surprisingly the curry flavored one.  I wasn’t expecting to like that one the best but I do.  The protein content of these makes them a great lunch meal, especially for my teen kids who think they are amazing.  The price point is pretty decent for a more healthy alternative of some normally unhealthy foods.  I would get these again, I might even just pick up a pack of the curry ones, the spice and flavor is ON POINT!

    Plant based with good flavors

I think these are great for vegans and non vegans alike, the ramen has a lot of protein, it is entirely plant based and non GMO. These cups are simple to prepare, open the separate packets and pour the spices on top, pour boiling water over the pasta and then just let it sit for 5 minutes. Stir and enjoy. There are not any directions for microwave cooking therefore I would not try to prepare the ramen cups in a microwave at all. The cup is paper based so you can recycle it and that is a plus, thanks Volo Vero for being earth friendly. There is MSG in the Kimchi version so it is worth mentioning that because some are very sensitive to it, and there is also wheat gluten in all 4 versions of the variety pack I received. One thing I will mention and this is entirely from my own experience, the ramen noodles have a strange texture to me. I honestly could not finish the whole cup of the kimchi flavor because I just did not like the texture of the actual noodles. I’m not sure what it is because I have wheat based and other plant based pastas on the regular, but I found the noodles in the ramen cup just did not do it for me. I’m sure it is just my own palate so it may be insignificant to any one else but that and the MSG is the reason for the 4 stars. The flavors are good, they are plant based and the simplicity of preparing a meal in 5 minutes is wonderful. However, if you want some choices that are more budget tier you may want to look elsewhere.

    Great variety pack

Excellent variety pack of ramen that also packs a nice protein punch. Each cup of noodles has an additional 32 grams of protein from added pea protein making this a superb way to get your daily protein allotment. They are easy to cook since you just add boiling water and each flavor has plenty of seasoning and toppings in the included packets. I never knew ramen noodles could be so healthy!

    Decent Ramen

I did not know what to expect from this Ramen. I like that it is lower carb, but it is not really low carb. The instructions are easy to follow and give you a well cooked product. I like that the broth packet and the onion packet are separate from the noodles, as I typically don’t like the onions. The consistency of the noodles is pretty good. They are thinner than most Ramen but not bad. The “chicken” flavor really tastes nothing like chicken to me. It’s just a generic broth that is tasty and surprisingly also is a bit spicy, which is not a bad thing. The issue is that the noodles seem to have absolutely no flavor of their own. They don’t even seem to soak up the flavor of the broth. Overall it’s a decent cup of Ramen.

    Love the high protein

I love ramen but typically avoid it because it’s a nutritional nightmare. This high protein ramen is giving me a reason to be able to have it again. These aren’t keto friendly but they are extremely lower in carbs than regular ramen and the 32 grams of protein is better than I get in most of my protein bars. It also tastes really good. I’ve had the chicken flavor and the spicy curry so far and both were great. The spice level in the spicy was light and enjoyable; it’s not going to set your mouth on fire. The noodles are thin and chewy but satisfying. There’s still a lot of sodium in them though if you are sodium sensitive. Only thing I really don’t like is the price but to change things up and add some ramen I can actually enjoy without so much guilt, I’d get them again.

decent ramen, but not the best

This 6-pack of vegetarian ramen is fine. It’s filling and fairly tasty, but it’s far from the best I’ve ever had. The pack contains four flavors: 2 chicken, 2 beef, 1 kimchi, and 1 curry. The flavors are pleasant and savory, but I didn’t think the meat-flavored ones really tasted like meat, unlike some plant-based alternatives I’ve tried. I liked that each cup has a separate packet of vegetables and a separate packet of seasoning, because I don’t like a lot of spice but always want all the vegetables. I wish there were more vegetables, in fact.Like all ramen, it is very salty, but these are nice because they are very high in protein and have very little saturated fat. The cooking instructions are extremely vague, so you’ll need to play around a little to figure out the best way to make it (and you will need to use a bowl for this- the instructions don’t call for heating in the container and it probably wouldn’t fit).

Noodles are not good at all

Broth was good. Noddles were super odd. Very grainy and chewy. I followed the directions but they always seemed undercooked. I even put them in a bowl and microwaved them longer but the noodles are just a gross texture that you can’t cook out
